Develop and maintain a variety of applications and ensuring such applications and systems are structured, designed and maintained according to Departmental standards, procedures and guidelines.
Website Development and Hosting
Develop and maintain a variety of websites and ensuring such websites are structured, designed and maintained according to Departmental standards, procedures and guidelines.
Networking Internet and E-mail
The Government Wide Area Network section is responsible for development and maintenance of Government ICT network infrastructure. The section provides network services to Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
Maintenance of Computer Hardware and Software
Maintenance of computer hardware in a way of taking care, repairing and replacing broken and failing computer hardware.
ICT Education and Training
Provide ICT education and training both to the public and private sector. NACIT offers Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelors Degree and short courses in the field of Information Technology.
Policy Planning and Programmes
The Policy Planning and Programmes section is responsible for formulation of ICT polices, strategies and standards. The Section also coordinates various ICT programmes including projects.
