Acting Executive Director for National Local Government Finance Committee Kondwani Santhe has urged journalists to engage authorities and key players in different development projects in order to disseminate the right information.
Santhe said this during close of a 3-day media training on Social Support for Resillient Livilihood Projecr (SSRLP) at La Riviera Hotel in Mangochi.
"With the knowledge and experiences you have garnered here, we expect you to facilitate effective dissemination of information and to facilitate effective delivery of SSRLP," said Santhe.
Commenting on the development President for the SSRLP media network Andrew Mkonda said the meeting was an eye opener.
"We came empty but now we are well versed with the programme and we will do the needful on the ground," said Mkonda
Journalists drawn from 14 districts attended the training.
